It was discovered growing along the banks of the Illinois River near Tahlequah, Oklahoma by lifetime nurseryman and plant enthusiast, J. Christie. It produces large clear bright white flowers with a dark crimson-red eyes and long curled stamens. Flowers are huge, which will create a stunning display in your garden.
