Buy Coral Bark Upright Japanese Maple online. Also known as ‘Sango Kaku’, it is best known for its striking red bark in the fall and winter. The leaves unfold with red and pinkish tinges that become lime green and yellow with bright red edges well into spring. During the summer’s heat the foliage becomes a medium green. When the yellow and gold fall colors develop, the cooler temperatures also start to change the bark to red that intensifies as the weather gets colder.
